2018 was Pastor George's 30th anniversary at FCC and he's still going strong. He began attending FCC in the spring of 1988 and within three years was asked to serve on staff as the associate to Pastor Ernie Kratofil, circa April 1991. As a staff pastor he also began serving at Saanich Peninsula Hospital as a volunteer chaplain. Upon retirement in 2007 he continued in various ministry activities such as Bible studies, prayer times, pulpit supply, funerals, etc. Another of the "hats" he wears at Friendship is property manager, and you can often find him mowing, painting and doing general maintenance most week days.
